Join Sarah Winslow for a special evening of restorative yoga and a guided yoga nidra practice, celebrating the Winter Solstice and a more mellow, yin time of year.
The Winter Solstice marks the longest night, and signals the powerful transition between seasons. As we move into winter, the natural world teaches us to pause, slow down, embrace the silence, and welcome the healing and nurturing that comes from stillness.
During this 90 minute workshop, Sarah will lead you through a series of gentle and supported restorative poses. After settling in to a supported, extended savasana, you will be guided through a yoga nidra meditation designed to nurture the mind, body and soul.
Yoga Nidra is an incredibly healing practice in which you hover in the space between awake and asleep, allowing the body to be highly relaxed while the mind is tranquil but alert. Spending time in this space allows you to:
Relieve tension in the physical and energetic bodies
Improve the quality of your sleep
Lower blood pressure, heart rate, and cortisol (the stress hormone) levels
Alleviate the symptoms of anxiety and depression
All that's required of you is to show up (dressed in your coziest clothes) and settle in.
Hurry, spots are limited and this event is sure to sell out. Be sure to book now before it waitlists!
Investment: $30 by 12/1; $35 after.
