200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Winter/Spring 2026

Looking to up-level your life?

This training is for the dedicated yogi—the one who craves a deeper connection to their practice, both on and off the mat. If yoga is already a steady part of your life and you're ready to explore its depths—through movement, philosophy, and lifestyle—the YTT journey is calling.

THE JOURNEY

Expect to be fully immersed. You’ll move, breathe, and teach—gaining the confidence to share yoga in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether your path leads to teaching or simply enriching your personal practice, you’ll walk away with a profound understanding of yoga’s essence and how to integrate it into your life in a meaningful, sustainable way.

THE RESULTS

This training isn’t just about learning sequences or philosophy—it’s about transformation. Here, you’ll shed limiting beliefs, find your voice, and build lifelong connections with a community that sees and supports you. It’s the beginning of something big—not just a training, but a shift. And in this space, you’ll thrive.

What you’ll learn:

Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to give you a well-rounded foundation in yoga, both as a personal practice and a powerful tool to share with others.

From refining your asana alignment and deepening your understanding of anatomy to exploring yoga’s rich philosophy and teaching methodology, this program equips you with the knowledge and confidence to guide students with skill and authenticity.

  • Explore the mechanics and energetics of yoga postures, learning how to practice and teach them safely and effectively.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of alignment principles to support students (and yourself!) in finding stability, ease, and balance in their practice.

You’ll learn to guide students in breath-centered practices that support nervous system regulation and deep transformation.

You’ll learn how these unseen aspects of the body influence physical, mental, and emotional well-being, and how to incorporate subtle body awareness into your teaching.

  • Dive into the wisdom of ancient yogic texts, exploring how these teachings apply to modern life.

You’ll develop a personal connection to yoga philosophy and learn to weave it authentically into your teaching.

  • Understand yoga’s origins and cultural heritage, acknowledging its deep spiritual and historical significance.

Learn how to teach yoga with respect, integrity, and awareness, honoring the tradition while making it accessible to all.

  • Master the art of designing intelligent, creative, and purposeful yoga classes.

We’ll explore different sequencing approaches, cueing techniques, and teaching skills to lead impactful, functional and inspiring practices.

  • Learn the principles of hands-on, verbal and energetic adjustments to help students refine their alignment and deepen their experience. Develop confidence in offering safe, consent-based, and supportive assists.

  • Gain insight into the practical side of being a yoga teacher, from marketing and branding to ethical considerations and career sustainability. Learn how to navigate the industry while staying true to the core tenets of the yoga practice.

Let us answer your questions!

  • In addition to the skills required to communicate effectively and intentionally, you’ll take a deep dive into the teachings of the yoga practice.

We invite you to take a peek at a prior YTT syllabus to get an idea of the programming. Please note that our 200 Hour YTT program is ever-evolving as we continually work to improve the experience of our trainees and graduates. While this gives a great view of our 200 hour framework, your program syllabus may differ from this example.

  • YES! Many of our grads attend simply to learn more about the philosophies of yoga or to refine their own personal practice. The intent to teach is not a requirement for a 200 Hour Training.

While you don’t need to teach following your graduation, you will be required to participate in practice teaching drills + (2) community classes over the course of the training. You’ll leave training with the skills required to speak clearly and confidently to a room of people, a helpful skillset in any career.

More often than not, our grads leave training wanting to teach, whether or not that was their intention at the time of enrollment. Be open to whatever your path holds!

  • You will have a physical practice at each YTT session, so it’s important to have a consistent practice however, there is no “right’ amount of time to be practicing before YTT.

If you are dedicated to your asana practice, have a thirst for knowledge, and a willingness to learn more about yourself, you are ready for a teacher training!

  • The scheduling of each weekend varies based on the subject being covered however, the overall structure tends to look similar.

Take a peek at a sample weekend from a prior teacher training to get an idea of what your days will look like.

  • We split our weekends between The Yoga Tree in downtown Haverhill and Light House Yoga in North Andover. This give you the opportunity to connect with two studio communities, a huge benefit to anyone looking to teach after graduation.

  • Yes! You can miss up to one full weekend of teacher training and still graduate through assigned make-up work.

“One Full Weekend” qualifies as a single weekend of consecutive days or 3 days spread out over the course of the training.

If you have to miss more than the allotted amount of time, you can still graduate through make-up work and classes however, this will come at an additional cost.
