This 90 min practice artfully combines Yin Yoga and cupping to help bring a sense of ease to those chronically tense or sore spots in your body. This therapeutic combination allows you to deepen your postures and enhance the elasticity of the connective tissue, allowing for more passive movements.
As Ally guides you through a series of yin postures, Alyssa will be offering cupping assists that will make your practice even more potent. Practice will end with a guided meditation and dreamy savasana that will leave you feeling completely blissed out.
About Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a mindful style of yoga that uses longer holds to access the fascia and connective tissue in the body. You can expect a passive practice, with postures that are close to the ground and held for extended periods of time. The pace of this practice allows deeper access to the connective tissues within the body, offering increased blood flow, lessened pain, and an overall feeling of openness.
About Cupping
Cupping is the use of cups that are placed on the skin which provide suction to the underlying tissue. Cupping promotes blood flow, promotes relaxation, and decreases tension in muscle allowing for improved flexibility.
