A Note Regarding COVID-19

Hi yogis,

I hope you are doing well despite the effects of COVID-19. Now more than ever, a consistent yoga practice is integral to our physical, mental and emotional well-being. We are working diligently to make sure that the yoga practice and your Yoga Tree community is accessible to you despite these uncertain and chaotic times.

We are enacting the following changes that will be in place for the foreseeable future while we maneuver the effects of this pandemic.

Mats & Blocks: If you have your own mat and blocks, we encourage you to bring them. If you do not have your own, please feel free to use the studio’s but you MUST wipe them down before leaving. There are Clorox wipes available for use on the window next to the shelf of blocks.

Blankets, Bolsters, Straps & Eye Pillows: We will be removing the blankets, bolsters, straps and eye pillows from the studio. None of the classes going forward will require the use of these props.

Hands-On Assists: Some teachers may choose not to offer hands-on assists at all while others will be limiting their use of assists. Hand sanitizers have been placed throughout the studio and teachers have been instructed to use sanitizer before AND after providing assists to each student.

Cancellation Policy: The studio typically allows students to cancel their class registration without consequence up to 4 hours before the class’ start time. Because of ever-changing nature of this situation, we are waiving the 4 hour window and you will be able to cancel classes without consequence at any point prior to the class’ start time.

Online Classes: We are setting up a platform to livestream our regularly-scheduled weekly classes so that you may attend remotely, if preferred. We hope to have this finalized and available for booking by early next week. We are also working to record a library of classes that will be made available on-demand in the event of a studio closure. Both the live-streamed and on-demand classes will require drop in and/or multi-class passes or an unlimited membership to attend. We will send out more details once the online options are available.

Cleaning: We will continue to maintain our high standards of cleanliness at The Yoga Tree. Your health and well-being are our first priority.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to seeing you all in the studio (or online) very soon! Wishing you health and wellness.

Warmly,
Ally
