300 Hour Teacher Training Application

Teacher Training Policies
Tuition
$3,500 when paid in full by October 1st
$3,900 when paid in full after October 1st
$4100 for 6- or 10-month payment plan
$600 non-refundable deposit due along with a completed application to reserve your space in the program.
Application Process: Trainees are required to submit a completed Teacher Training application along with a copy of their 200-hour teacher training certificate of completion or explanation of equivalent experience and a $600 non-refundable deposit. Upon acceptance, trainees will be expected to pay the remaining balance or submit a credit card for payment plan.
Admission Criteria: Applicants must have graduated from a 200-hour Teacher Training program.
Cancellation & Refund Policy: A completed application and $600 deposit are required to secure space in the training. If applicant is not accepted for any reason, the $600 deposit will be refunded. There are no refunds on teacher training payments.
Grievance Policy: If a trainee has a grievance and believes that their rights have been violated, a written complaint must be submitted to the studio Director, who has one week to determine next steps.
Trainee Expectations and Training Completion Requirements: Trainees are required to: Attend all of the scheduled sessions; Complete all the required assignments; Read all assigned materials; Complete all final weekend practicum requirements; Take 30 classes at The Yoga Tree or Light House Yoga over the course of the training; Maintain a consistent yoga asana practice. Trainees are given one year from the end of their training to complete these requirements for certification, after that time trainees may reach out to the program director to discuss options.
Attendance/Make-Up Policy: The expectation is that students will attend and participate in all training hours. Students cannot miss more than 20% of the training and still receive a completion certificate. Make up hours/assignments will be given at the discretion of the faculty.
Program Participation Agreement: I understand that in order to receive a Certificate of Completion in The Academy of Yoga 300 Hour Teacher Training, I must attend and actively participate in all the required class hours and capably demonstrate an understanding of the material in the Final Practicum Examination. I understand that acceptance in The Academy of Yoga 300 Hour Teacher Training does not guarantee certification.
I understand that The Academy of Yoga reserves the right to ask me to leave the program if my behavior is inappropriate or unethical. Under such circumstances I understand I will not be refunded my tuition.
I understand that the $600 deposit for the training is non-refundable and non-transferable. I understand that if I am not accepted into the program, I will be refunded my $600 deposit. I understand that I am still responsible for full payment of tuition ($3500 if enrolled by 10/1/2025, $3900 if enrolled after 10/1/2025 , $4100 if enrolled with a 6 or 10 month payment plan) even if I withdraw from the program for any reason.
I understand that occasionally The Academy of Yoga will film teacher training for educational or promotional purposes.
I have read and acknowledge the Teacher Training Policies above and submit my application accepting these terms. Further, I understand The Academy of Yoga, The Yoga Tree and Light House Yoga will photograph and film trainings and may use whole or composite images, without prior approval from me, in newsletters, promotions, manuals or books or any other lawful purposes as determined by The Academy of Yoga. I also understand that footage or quotations from me, both written or verbal, may be used in the publicity of trainings and all purposes described above.
Payment Agreement: FOR VALUE RECEIVED, the undersigned hereby promises to pay to the order ofThe Academy of Yoga the sum of$3500 if enrolled by 10/1/2025, $3900 if enrolled after 10/1/2025, or $4100 if enrolled with a 6 or 10 month payment planaccording to the payment schedule below. A deposit of $600 is due along with this application. If this Note is not paid when due or if a default occurs, the undersigned promises to pay all costs of enforcement and collection, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees, regardless of whether such enforcement or collection includes the filing of a lawsuit, together with interest on the unpaid sum at the then applicable rate. The undersigned waives diligence, prevention, protest and demand and also notice of protest, demand, non-payment and dishonor of this Note.
